Welcome New Students and the New Semester with “Wolves Up Week” at Arkansas State University!

Arkansas State University (A-State) is proud to announce its annual “Wolves Up Week” event series, specially designed to welcome all students, both new and returning, to kick off a fall semester full of energy and connection. This series of events is not only a chance for students to step outside their dorm rooms but also a wonderful opportunity to discover the vibrant life on campus and build new relationships.

Main purpose: “Wolves Up Week” was created to help students quickly settle into university life and connect with student organizations and various faith-based groups on campus. It's the perfect start to experiencing A-State's unique culture.

Highlights and exciting activities:

• “Party with the Pack” (Saturday, August 16): Kick off the week at the Reng Student Union with free food, fun outdoor games, and a photo booth.
• “Splash Bash” (Sunday, August 17): Cool off from the summer heat with water slides, refreshing snow cones, and chalk art.
• “Flight Night” (Monday, August 18): A unique experience with a tethered hot air balloon ride at the Intramural Field — one of the most highly anticipated highlights.
• “Silent Disco” (Tuesday, August 19): A one-of-a-kind music party at the Red Wolf Center, where you can dance to your own beat through headphones.
• “Cinema at Centennial” (Thursday, August 21): Enjoy an outdoor movie night at Centennial Bank Stadium, complete with popcorn and candy.
• National Panhellenic Recruitment Week: Culminating in Bid Day for sorority membership.
• “Meet the Greeks” Week by the National Pan-Hellenic Council: A chance to learn about traditional fraternities and sororities.
• Community Fair (Wednesday, August 27): Connecting students with campus offices, student organizations, and local businesses.
• “Order of the Pack” (Thursday, August 28): Get ready together for the first home football game by practicing cheers and singing traditional songs.
