Application status

Where is my application? How to check and who will help

After you apply, you do not have to wait in silence. Here is how to check your status in the university’s system, what each status means, and how our admissions team proactively follows up so nothing gets stuck.

01

Three ways to check your status

  1. 1

    A-State applicant portal

After submitting the online application you receive an email to create an account on the university’s applicant portal. Log in to see which documents have been received, what is missing and the decision once made. Check your spam folder if the email has not arrived.

  2. 2

    Email from International Admissions

The university emails you when your application is received, when documents are needed and when a decision is made. Use the same email address you gave on the application and reply within a few days to avoid delays.

  3. 3

    Ask our admissions team

Message the hotline on WhatsApp or email your assigned advisor. We work directly with International Admissions and can check and nudge a file that has been waiting too long.

03

How our admissions team tracks your file

Every application submitted through the office is assigned to an advisor. We check documents before submission, keep a copy of the full file and verify the status regularly with International Admissions. When the university requests something, you receive a message explaining in plain language exactly what to send and by when. Parents can call the hotline any time to hear exactly where their child’s file stands.

Agency Portal

For recruitment partners

Partners of our admissions team track all of their students’ files — status, missing documents, admission letters and I-20s — in the Agency Portal. If you do not have an account yet, submit a partner inquiry.

Frequently asked questions

I applied three weeks ago and have heard nothing. Is that normal?

For undergraduate applications, 2–4 weeks is normal once the file is complete. Log in to the portal to confirm nothing is missing; if the status is still “Under review” after four weeks, message the office and we will check with the university.

I never received the portal account email.

Check spam/promotions folders and make sure the email address on your application has no typos. If it still has not arrived after 3–5 business days, the office will ask the university to resend it.

Can I change details after submitting?

Yes. Changes such as major, intake or contact details can be updated through International Admissions. Tell the office and we will submit a formal request.

Is the admission letter sent on paper or electronically?

Admission letters and I-20s are usually sent electronically via email or the portal. A signed electronic I-20 is valid for the visa application; print it and sign it before your interview.

Can partners see the files of students they referred?

Yes, in the Agency Portal. Each partner sees only their own students, with statuses and missing documents updated by the office.
