International Admissions Office

A-State’s authorised international admissions office

One team for every question about Arkansas State University, wherever you are applying from — authorised by the university, operated by VNIS, and charging no service fee to students or families.

What the office does

Our admissions team is Arkansas State University’s authorised international admissions office, operated by VNIS Vietnam Co., Ltd as the university’s Authorized Recruiter under agreement with A-State. In practice: the information we give is checked directly with A-State’s Office of International Admissions, your application goes straight into the university’s admissions system, and every admission letter and I-20 is issued by A-State itself.

We are not a general study-abroad agency promoting hundreds of universities. The office works for one university, so advisors know every major, deadline and scholarship rule at A-State — and will say plainly when A-State is not the right fit for you.

For recruitment partners (agents), the office acts as master agent: training, materials, application handling through the Agency Portal and case-by-case support. See the partner page for details.

Operated by VNIS Vietnam Co., Ltd as Authorized Recruiter for Arkansas State University.

Free services for students and parents

  • 1-on-1 advising on majors by strengths, career goals and OPT prospects
  • Entry-requirement check (GPA, English) and ELA pathway advice if needed
  • Guidance on preparing and submitting your application directly to A-State — no intermediary
  • Review of international scholarships, renewal conditions and Graduate Assistantships (graduate level)
  • I-20 guidance, SEVIS fee payment, F-1 visa interview preparation
  • Pre-departure session: flights, shuttle, housing, insurance, packing list
  • Connection with international students currently at A-State
  • Support after enrolment: renewal reminders, liaison with ISS when needed

Why is it free?

A-State funds the office as part of its international recruitment strategy. Students pay only official fees to the university and US government agencies (application fee $50, international deposit $350, SEVIS fee, visa fee) — paid directly through the university’s or US government’s portals, never through the office.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know the office is the official representative?

You can verify directly with Arkansas State University’s Office of International Admissions (international@astate.edu) — the university can confirm that VNIS Vietnam Co., Ltd is its Authorized Recruiter in Vietnam.

What is the benefit of applying through the office versus on my own?

Your application goes into the same university system, but it is checked first to avoid missing documents, tracked and reminded at each milestone; if something stalls, the office contacts admissions directly. And it is free.

Does the office help with the visa?

Yes — guidance on financial documents, the DS-160 form and interview practice. The office does not influence US Consulate decisions and does not guarantee visa outcomes.

I am in another country and cannot visit the office.

Most advising takes place online via Google Meet or Zoom, with follow-up by WhatsApp or email. Documents are sent as scans; originals are needed only for the visa.

Does the office advise on universities other than A-State?

This office represents Arkansas State University only. If A-State is not a fit (for example, your major is not offered), we will say so clearly so you can look elsewhere.
