Residence halls for first-year / undergraduate students

• Arkansas Hall: suite-style, co-ed, near the Red W.O.L.F. Center.
• Kays Hall: first-year co-ed, suite-style, near the Reng Student Union.
• University Hall: first-year female only, suite-style.
• North Park Quads: 4-bedroom, 2-bath suites for undergraduate students.

Apartment-style living

• Collegiate Park: 2- and 4-bedroom layouts.
• Pack Place: 2 bed/2 bath or 4 bed/4 bath, private bedroom/bathroom, kitchen, laundry, balcony.
• Red Wolf Den: 2-, 3-, or 4-bedroom apartment options.
• The Village and The Circle are other options within the current housing system.

The Circle

The Circle is a suitable living option for graduate students, A-State faculty/staff, and medical school students, with a private bedroom, private bathroom, living room, and kitchen.

Students should start with University Housing to review current options, rates, and application procedures. If you need further assistance, you can contact Housing@AState.edu or the Vietnam Office.

Freshman

• This group is required to live on-campus during their first year under current guidelines.
• If an exemption is needed, the university offers a live-on waiver for each academic year.

Transfer students / others

• Not required to live on campus.
• May still choose on-campus housing if they prefer the convenience and proximity to campus.

When should you consider off-campus housing?

• When you want more privacy or a more independent lifestyle.
• When you're already familiar with Jonesboro and confident handling leases, utilities, transportation, and daily life.
• When you are not required to live on campus.

Things to keep in mind

• You will need to call to check availability, schedule viewings, sign a lease, and work directly with the landlord.
• International Student Services or the Vietnam Office can provide guidance, but cannot take responsibility for your off-campus rental decisions.
• You should also account for additional costs such as transportation, furniture, utilities, and other incidental expenses.

Cost examples

• The Village and The Circle have different semester rates depending on the layout.
• Meal plans also come in a variety of configurations, such as 5-day, 7-day, block plans, or voluntary plans.
• Some apartments such as Pack Place and The Circle have a separate renter's insurance fee per semester.
