Engineering and Computer Science Awards Presented at Scholars' Convocation

JONESBORO – The College of Engineering and Computer Science at Arkansas State University (Arkansas State University – A-State) presented awards to graduating students during the Scholars' Convocation ceremony, according to Dr. Abhijit Bhattacharyya, Dean.
Ramsey Alan Brower of West Plains, Missouri, received the Chancellor's Scholar Award and the 4.0 Scholar Award as the graduating student with the highest overall GPA in the college. He will graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.

College-level awards were also presented to the outstanding graduating student and graduate student in each program. These awards include the Citizenship Award and the Outstanding Achievement Award.
The Citizenship Award is presented to one student in each program who has demonstrated active involvement in mentoring fellow students, participation in student clubs and activities, and has served as a strong ambassador for the college. Students receiving this award include:
