Centennial Bank Becomes A-State’s First Football Jersey Patch Sponsor

Arkansas State Athletics and Centennial Bank have announced a multi-year football jersey patch sponsorship. Centennial Bank becomes the first corporate partner to place its logo on an A-State game jersey.

The details
The Centennial Bank logo sits on the front of the game jersey and debuted on 5 September 2026, when the Red Wolves opened their season at Memphis. The agreement runs for multiple years; neither party disclosed its value.
“Every time our team takes the field, this partnership will be on full display – a reflection of Centennial Bank’s commitment to Arkansas State and to the communities we both serve,” said Chris Pezman, Vice Chancellor for Intercollegiate Athletics.
“It is with pride and honor that we announce today that our Centennial Bank logo will be on the jerseys of Coach Butch Jones’ Red Wolves, debuting in the season opener on Sept. 5,” said Johnny Allison, founder and chairman of Centennial Bank.
“Putting the Centennial Bank logo patch on our jersey isn’t just a branding milestone – it’s a point of pride and reflects our commitment to being a community-based program,” said head coach Butch Jones.
An existing relationship
The two are not new partners. The university’s football stadium has carried the name Centennial Bank Stadium since 2014, and the bank has been involved in other campus facilities — including the Welcome Center opened in 2018, which houses a bank branch inside the building.
Why this matters if you are coming from abroad
College sport is hard to picture if you have not studied in the United States, but it shapes the student experience more than you would expect. On a game day the whole campus changes rhythm: students gather at Tailgate City outside the stadium, clubs set up stalls, and entry is free with a student ID.
A sponsorship like this is also a financial signal. Local businesses put their name and logo on a university’s assets when they believe the institution has a durable place in the community. For a family weighing four years abroad, that sits usefully alongside rankings and tuition figures.
