On Saturday night, 24 October 2026, at halftime of the Red Wolves’ football game against Georgia State at Centennial Bank Stadium, Arkansas State University crowned its 2026 Homecoming King and Queen: Cosmo Deveaux of Nassau, The Bahamas, and Emma Dorton of Dexter, Missouri.

The king and queen were selected through candidate interviews and a vote by the student body during Homecoming week. The night ended the right way: the Red Wolves beat Georgia State 38–32.

What Homecoming is

Homecoming is the week when alumni return to campus — a football game, the crowning of the court and alumni honours. This year the Alumni Association recognised its 2026 Distinguished Alumni, and the class of 1976 held its 50-year reunion at the Cooper Alumni Center.

Worth noticing

The Homecoming titles are chosen by the students themselves — and this year the king is an international student. A-State has more than 1,200 international students from over 70 countries, and they are part of the university’s biggest traditions, not just its classrooms.
