Arkansas State University (A-State) offers a range of competitive scholarship programs for international students. Vietnamese students who apply through the Vietnam Office receive preferential tuition support, making the journey to studying in the US more accessible.
Scholarship Program Overview
A-State currently offers three main scholarship categories for undergraduate students:

Merit-Based Scholarships
Undergraduate Level
Students must meet the following requirements:
- Enroll full-time: at least 12 credit hours per semester
- Maintain a GPA of 3.5/4.0 or higher
- Scholarships are awarded annually and divided evenly across each semester
Graduate Level (For Reference)
- Full-time enrollment of at least 9 credit hours per semester
- Maintain a GPA of 3.75/4.0 or higher
Note: International students are not eligible for scholarships/financial aid during the Summer term. These scholarships cannot be combined with the special benefits for Vietnamese students mentioned above.

- Participate in an audition/try-out as required by the department/program
- May receive additional room and board support depending on the award level
Undergraduate Scholarships Based on ACT/SAT Scores
Scholarships are awarded based on:
- High school GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher, and
- ACT or SAT score according to the table below:
