Dr. Calvin White Jr. Appointed Chancellor of Arkansas State University

On 28 September 2026 the ASU System Board of Trustees appointed Dr. Calvin White Jr. — A-State’s provost since 2023 and interim chancellor since July — as chancellor. He is the first African American to hold the post.
